WISeR in Practice: What Washington Physicians and Providers Need to Know
May 27, 2026 at 12:00 PM PST
Duration: 60 minutes with Q&A
Virtix Health is hosting a practical, physician and provider-focused webinar on the CMS WISeR (Wasteful and Inappropriate Service Reduction) Model for Washington state physicians, providers, and their staff.
As the CMS-designated WISeR participant responsible for conducting prior authorization reviews in Washington state, Virtix Health introduced a new prior authorization process for select Medicare procedures beginning January 5, 2026. Many physicians and providers have questions about submission requirements, determination timelines, and what to do when issues arise. This webinar is our opportunity to provide clear, direct answers.
Dr Hanul Bhandari, a clinical leader at Virtix Health, will share firsthand perspective and clinical feedback. During the session, we will walk through the submission workflow, cover documentation, review physician and provider information requirements, explain how to request peer-to-peer reviews, and preview our upcoming gold carding program for qualifying providers. Representatives from Noridian, WSHA, and WSMA will be available to answer questions.
When registering, we encourage you to submit your questions. We will do our best to address them during the live session.
